This month I have also made some very elegant earrings suitable for everyday wear. I have used high quality 14kt/20 gold filled beads and finding ( 14 carat plated 1/20th of the the weight of gold). Base metal is  Brass . These are a great alternative to 9ct and 18ct gold earrings which would more expensive. The other positive is if you lose one it can be replaced and it will not cost you an arm and a leg.
